Publisher Help Center Revamp – Give Us Your Feedback!

We’re currently revamping the Publisher Help Center (currently at http://support.jobamatic.com) to better meet the needs of our publishers. But we want to hear feedback from our publishers about the sections that will be included. So, suggest new sections that we haven’t covered, or highlight sections where you’d like to see more information.

Currently, the Help Center is broken up into seven sections:

• Account Basics (Account, Job Posting, Payment & Domain Names)
• Job-a-matic (Customization & Backfill)
• International (Publishers & Job Content)
• Other Opportunities (Mobile, Twitter, Email, Link Exchange, Resume & Advertising)
• Widgets (Contextual Widgets & Displaying Job Content)
• Job Search (Search Simply Hired from your site)
• XML API (Implementation)

A section on Job-a-matic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) would be helpful.

A link to your Jan 21, 2010 "Best Practices: SEO for your Job-a-matic Board" blog article could be included.

Also, information such as: how Simply Hired/Job-a-matic dynamically generates page metadata, do all/most user searches get crawled by Googlebot and indexed, inter-linking best practices between the "parent site" and the Job-a-matic site, (e.g, over optimizing - if your main website menu is included in your Job-a-matic site header and every search page gets indexed, hundreds of thousands of link-backs can be created... originating from a different IP).

Strong results in organic searches is a big bonus for your product, worth showcasing :-)

Here is a post on the WordPress support forum with instructions for integrating a Job-a-matic board into your WordPress blog site:

Unfortunately, there is not an easy plug-in at this time.
